Frequently asked questions

What our clients ask.

How much does a Cinemax retractable screen cost?

The Éclipse retractable screen starts at €90,000 for 4.5 m² and €110,000 for 7 m². The final price is set after the site study, depending on the terrace and the desired integration. Online reservation requires a €2,000 deposit, fully refundable.

Is the image visible in daylight?

Yes. The MicroLED panel delivers 4,000 nits of brightness (Direct Sunlight Readable): the image stays perfectly legible in full sun, with infinite contrast and absolute blacks after dark.

Does the screen withstand the weather?

Yes, it is 100% outdoor-rated: the whole assembly is IP65 certified — sea spray, heavy rain, extreme temperatures. Retracted, the screen disappears entirely beneath the terrace, sheltered.

How does it integrate into the terrace?

Flush-mount integration: once retracted, the screen vanishes completely beneath the terrace — wood, stone or tile — with no visual break and no visible cables.

What sizes are available?

Two standard surfaces: 4.5 m² and 7 m². Beyond 7 m², every project is handled as a bespoke commission, upon study, according to the place and its architectural constraints.

Can it be controlled from an existing home-automation system?

Yes. The screen is compatible with professional Crestron, Control4, Lutron and KNX systems, with voice control, scenes and automatic image alignment.

How does the reservation work?

You reserve online with a €2,000 deposit, fully refundable. An advisor contacts you within 48 hours to plan the site study, which sets the final price and the installation schedule.
